ABOUT
Lucy Sewill is a photographer with a diverse creative career.
Her photographs hang in the NPG and she has exhibited and been published worldwide.
Lucy has written editorial to accompany her pictures, been commissioned for 3 books, penned a monthly column about her life with family and animals in the English Countryside, even took on the media promotion of a grounded international Opera singer in the days of pandemic. Lucy is a dedicated campaigner for herself and others with pituitary conditions. She has appeared on national TV, radio and in the press in connection with her personal life, her promotion of others and her professional work as a photographer.
Lucy judges, mentors and has undertaken portfolio reviews for fellow photographers.
She is currently promoting an International Photography festival and has an Art in Hospital commission underway. Visible Women a project about women in the music industry is taking shape for initial exhibition in June 2025.
Horses are her passion and her sanctuary featuring frequently in her work. Much of her professional photography work iexplores connection: Between the photographer and the subject as well as between the subjects themselves.
She lives in rural England with her family, horses and other animals.
She is an accredited member of the Association of Photographers, known to habituate the Chelsea Art’s Club and is managed by Sarah Daw.
